So I decided I needed to start letting Samih feed himself, and not worry about the mess he would make. He loves pudding, and decided to dig right in. It was all fun until he sneezed, you can imagine what sprayed all over me and my camera.

That boy can dance

Since Sam has been just a couple months old he has had this natural rhythm and love for music. If we were in the car and a song with a good beat came on, his little foot would start shaking. He is a really good dancer, and just the other day my dad came over with some Arabic music, and Sam went nuts!

Samih's New Girlfriend, Peyton

So we went to a fish fry at Jessie's, and Samih fell in love. Her name is Peyton, and Samih just couldnt keep his hands off of her! She wasn't quite as impressed with him as he was her, but they still had a lot of fun together. They rode a horse, played in the sand pit, and Samih picked some tomatoes for her.

I can't believe my baby is 1! He had a blast for his first birthday, and really enjoyed eating his own cake. He also raked in on the presents, spoiled lil guy. He got a new swingset! Tons of clothes, toys, including a cool red motorcycle that he will definitely need a helmet to ride. Thanks everyone for helping out and making Sam's day so special!

So a couple days ago, while cooking dinner, I realized I lost Samih. I heard him scream a couple times, only to find he had somehow trapped himself under the kitchen chairs. This is how I found, couldn't do anything but laugh, and take this picture.

 
 
 
 

Smarty Pants

Since Sam has not been able to master walking yet, he has learned to improvise, to keep from scratching his knees up. This video demonstrates how dang smart he is, it was absolutely hilarious! He gets the looks from his dad, but the brains from his mama!

 

Memory Lane

Ok, I am know I am being a little dramatic, but it kills me to see how big Samih has gotten before my very eyes! So whenever I miss my little baby, I just watch this video, and reminisce. He was such a tiny little guy, I can't even believe it!
