Happy Birthday Evan!

So December is filled with birthdays for our family. On December 16th I had the honor of throwing little Evan his first birthday party. He is such a cute little boy, and I think he and Sam will be great friends. They have finally really started to notice each other, and were checking each other out all night. Evan's mom, (my cousin Jilliene) baked him a cute little cake, which he wasn't too interested in.
Kenneth and I bought Evan a couple presents; a ridable horse, and a baby laptop. Evan's was quite terrified of the horse, as well as the balloons. It was so hilarious for all of us to watch his reaction to horse, which is really mean since he was absolutely terrified. I am so glad that we could capture his expression, truly priceless.
I received an update on Evan's relationship with the horse, he has learned to love it, and is now riding him. Way to go Evan! And Happy 1st Birthday sweet Baby Boy!

Blast from the Past

Since my great friend Kiana is in town, I thought it would be nice to surprise her with a little get together with some old pals. It was fun to see everyone and catch up, and especially fun to take this very sexy picture.

Samih's First Snow

We received a ton of snow yesterday and today. We decided it was time to get some family pictures done, so we can send our Christmas cards out before Christmas is here. We took Samih outside and let him experience the snow, well kind of. It was freezing, and no one was really happy, but still we got some really cute pictures! Maybe if the weather warms up a little, I can let him actually play in the snow.

What a Horrible Day!

Today was officially the worst day ever! Since Ken has been back to days, I have been leaving Samih with a babysitter. Today Tara watched him and was great with him, I went home to have lunch with them, and when I got ready to leave, he cried for me! And threw his little arms up for me to hold him. My heart literally broke, and I almost quit my job. I hope this gets easier because I can't take to much more of this! Like I don't miss my sweetie enough, he sent me on the road with his little stink face on my mind. I need to start playing the lotto, this working business is just not worth it.

Something about the Samih's...

It is pretty obvious that lil Samih and big Samih have a connection. Samih loves my dad so much, and is constantly wanting to play with him whenever we go over there, or whenever my dad comes over. I wonder if its because I named him after my dad...

Anyhow, the two are great buddies already and it is so cute to watch them play together.

5 Months and Taking Over

I can't believe my lil baby is 5 months! He wants to always stand, and is working so hard on crawling. He is developing such a great personality, and is constantly trying to take the next step. He is the smartest lil guy ever, I am so proud of him!

Playing with Pumpkins

We have been so lucky to have such a long fall season. I can't believe how warm it is, especially for December 1st! Today Samih played on the grass for the first time. He has learned how to sit on his own, and was pretty amused with the grass and the pumpkins. It's so awesome to watch him discover things for the first time. Man, I love this kid!
