Favorite Past Time...Feeding Goats

The summer before Noah got sick, our favorite thing to do every evening was to walk to this house a few blocks away and feed their goats. Ken was on the swing shift and it was kind of ritual to go for a walk every and give the goats either old bread or carrots. The boys loved it, and it gave me something to do. I was wondering if Noah would remember this, and sure enough he did. He was even more brave than he was the year before, and really enjoyed feeding the goats. It's the little things in life that I am happy for now.

Happy 2nd Birthday Noah!

He got spoiled! And he so deserved it!

Noah's favorite Birthday Gift, not sure who gave it to him but thank you!
We were so very happy to celebrate our Noah's 2nd Birthday. We threw him a huge party and had a great turnout. He has quite the fan club around here :) We did a huge balloon release. We all wrote on the balloons  a special message for Noah, and released the balloons to heaven :) Samih had quite the meltdown when he saw everyone let go of their balloons. He was so upset that we wasted the balloons! He will understand one day I figure.
We feel so very fortunate and blessed that he is able to enjoy his birthday as much as he has been. Life has really thrown him a curve ball, and I can't think of anyone as strong as he has been. His little body has endured so much, and he just keeps on going. He is an inspiration, truly. I have never felt more proud than I do right now. He is the epitome of resilience. Thank you God for blessing this baby, and blessing me and everyone who comes into contact with him. He has changed my life forever, for the better, and I will always be grateful for that. Thank you for blessing us with more time with him, I am so aware of the miracles that you performed, and am so forever grateful for all the blessings that you have given us along the way.
I know, God probably doesn't read blogs, but I feel it needs to be said. His presence in my life has been greater than ever, and I just don't even know what to do with myself sometimes it is so powerful. I feel so unworthy at times, guilty that our circumstances have been far more fortunate than many others who have crossed our paths.Still, I am so grateful for that, and I am truly working on becoming a better person, so maybe I can feel worthy of his blessings one day.
Enough of that, Noah is 2! Take that cancer! Happy Birthday my sweet son! And please God, Many Many MANY MANY more!
Thanks to everyone who came out and celebrated for us! And thanks to my great friends and family that helped me prepare for this party, I couldn't have done it without you, seriously :)

Happy 4th Birthday Samih!

My big boy is 4! How time flies, I remember bringing him home from the hospital like it was yesterday. Samih is one special kid, let me tell you Samih is:
Sweet
Thoughtful
Forgiving
SMART
Generous
Kind
a Superhero
Great Brother
Best Son
Funny
wait Hilarious
has a Great Memory like his mom :)
a Great Eater, not picky like his dad :)
One of a kind

This kid has been through alot just like the rest of the family. He has had to go without his mom for quite a while, but still everytime they came to visit it is like we never separated. He is still the most loving snuggly kid ever, and always trying to make everyone laugh. I am so lucky to be his mom, he makes everything seem normal for all of us, even when we were going through all the tough times, he was always doing something to make us laugh and feel normal. I love you Samih Arthur Daubney. You are a treasure!

Last Day of Radiation! Noah is a champ!

The staff here through Noah a little party. They are so wonderful

We are now officially Florida Gator fans :)

Noah and his favorite nurse, Gina. She was such a doll and so good to Noah and me.

Today Noah completed his 30th day of radiation! Thank God that we made it and that he is doing so well. We are so grateful for this day! I remember when they told me the protocol for his cancer, it seemed like it would take forever, yet here we are, all done for the most part. Noah still has 6 more months of oral chemo, but from what we hear that is easy, and we get to do it from home! As grateful as I am for hospitals, I am just so damn tired of being around them! Ken's mom has been here this past few days to help us get packed up and has been a huge help, and my mom and her will be switching spots in a few days, then the rest of my family will be coming to spend some much needed vacation in Disney World and SeaWorld. I can't wait, I miss my dad so much! Finally, I am seeing my life come back to somewhat normal :)
